Comprehensive 48 classes, Yitzhak Shamir - Nahariya

A unique project built on two adjacent public lots with a public thoroughfare running between them. The school serves as a "bridge" over the public thoroughfare while providing the community with opportunities to use the school's public functions, including the auditorium, library, and makerspace, after school hours.

The division of the lot made it possible to divide the school into a middle school and a high school, with the common space, which "passes" over the public right of way, being used on the first floor for workshop, art and technology spaces in accordance with the current trends at the school, and on the second floor as a rooftop courtyard, a "promenade" between the two parts of the building.

The shared and individual learning spaces were planned and designed according to changing needs and different learning options: display, lectures, learning in teams, large and small groups, pairs, and independent research.
